A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
COVINA, CALIFORNIA ORDERING THE PREPARATION OF AN
REPORT IN REGARDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2019-20 ASSESSMENT TO
BE LEVIED IN CONNECTION WITH LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE
DISTRICT NO.4
WHEREAS, the City's Landscape Maintenance District No. 4 (the strict') has been
established pursuant to the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972 (Streets & Highways Code
Section 22500 et seq) (the "Act") to fund the maintenance and servicing of certain public
landscaping and appurtenant facilities in the City; and
WHEREAS, in connection with the District, the City annually levies an assessment against
real property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to initiate proceedings to levy the assessment for
Fiscal Year 2019-20 in connection with the District;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCH. OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA,
CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the above recitals are hue and correct.
SECTION 2. The City Council hereby orders Willdan Financial Services, as assessment
engineer, to prepare and file with the City Clerk a report on the assessment in connection with the
District for Fiscal Year 2019-20. Such report shall include all information required by Sections
22565 et. seq of the Act. No substantial changes are proposed to the nature of the improvements
to be maintained and serviced in connection with the District.
SECTION 3. That the City Clark of the. City of West Covina shall cerkify to the adoption
of this resolution.
