RESOLUTION NO. 2017-96
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
COVINA, CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE A GRANT OF EASEMENT IN FAVOR OF
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON
The City of West Covina does hereby resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of West Covina does hereby find and
determine that the public convenience and necessity require that a Grant of Easement be
executed in favor of Southern California Edison for utility purposes over certain City-owned
property as described in the attached Exhibit "A" and by reference hereto made a part hereof.
SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and instructed to execute
a Grant of Easement, substantially in the form attached, in favor of Southern California Edison
for utility purposes.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this3 rti day of Octo4r, 2017.
