A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
COVINA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2008-84
RELATING TO MEETING TIMES AND PLACES OF COMMISSIONS,
TO CHANGE THE MEETING TIME OF THE SENIOR CITIZENS
COMMISSION FROM 3:00 P.M. TO 10:00 A.M., EFFECTIVE
FEBRUARY 23, 2012
Whereas, the Senior Citizens Commission of the City of West Covina desires to change
its meeting time from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m.; and
Whereas, the West Covina Municipal Code Section 2-71(a) states that each Commission
shall meet at a day and at a time determined by the Commission and approved by resolution of
the City Council.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West Covina does hereby resolve as
follows: j
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby approves the change in meeting time from 3:00
p.m. to 10:00 a.m.
SECTION 2. All other provisions relating to Commission meetings shall remain in
effect.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
