A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
COVINA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 5682
RELATING TO MEETING TIMES AND PLACES OF CITY BOARDS
AND COMMISSIONS, TO CHANGE THE MEETING DATE OF THE
SENIOR CITIZENS COMMISSION FROM THE SECOND THURSDAY
• OF EVERY MONTH TO THE FOURTH THURSDAY OF EVERY
MONTH EFFECTIVE JANUARY 24, 2008
Whereas, the Senior Citizens Commission of the City of West Covina, California, desires
to change its meeting date from the second Thursday of every month to the fourth Thursday of
every month, and
Whereas, the West Covina Municipal Code Section 2-71(a) states that each Commission
shall meet at least once per month on a day and at a time determined by the Commission and
approved by resolution of the City Council.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West Covina, California, does
hereby resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby approves the change in meeting date from the
second Thursday of every month to the fourth Thursday of every month effective January 24,
2008.
