RESOLUTION NO. 2007-71
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
COVINA, CALIFORNIA, ADDING THE PHYSICAL PROFILE, AS
OUTLINED BELOW, TO THOSE JOB CLASS SPECIFICATIONS THAT
REQUIRE EXTENSIVE WRITING AND/OR COMPUTER SHILLS
WHEREAS, there are job class specifications that require extensive writing and/or
computer skills; and
WHEREAS, writing and/or computer skills are listed in the essential functions or
required abilities of the job descriptions, as required, but the physical requirements to perform
these functions need to be added; and
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Commission, at their Special Meeting of August 22,
2007, approved the proposed physical profile for those positions that require extensive writing
and/or computer skills.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve as
follows:
SECTION 1. That for those positions that require extensive writing and/or computer
skills, the following physical profile is added to the job class specifications, as appropriate:
Physical Profile: This position requires extensive and repetitive physical activity
involving the arms, wrists, and hands, including writing and/or using a keyboard.
SECTION 2. The effective date of this Resolution is September 18, 2007.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
APPROVED and ADOPTED on this 18th day of September 2007.
