A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
COVINA, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING A REDUCED FEE FOR
ADMINISTRATIVE REVIEWS TO TEMPORARILY PLACE STORAGE
CONTAINERS IN SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONES
WHEREAS, the City of West Covina would like to formally adopt reduced fees for
administrative reviews of storage containers in single-family residential zones; and
WHEREAS, the City of West Covina presently requires a $340 deposit, which consists of
a filling fee of $113 plus $75 per hour of staff time spent to review the application; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission recommends a reduced fee for administrative
review to temporarily place storage containers in single-family residential properties; and
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve as
follows:
SECTION NO. 1: A flat fee of $50 for each administrative review of the temporary
placement of storage containers on single-family residential lots.
SECTION NO. 2: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and it
shall be in full force and effect.
