RESOLUTION NO. 2004-92
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
COVINA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTIONS NO. 9393 AND
2001-55, RELATING TO COMPENSATION OF LIMITED SERVICE
CLASSIFICATIONS
WHEREAS, the City of West Covina establishes salary ranges deemed appropriate as a
means to remain competitive in the labor market; and
WHEREAS, the City of West Covina has a need to have part-time salaries for all full-
time equivalents.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West Covina, California, does
resolve that Resolutions No. 9393 and 2001-55 relating to compensation of Limited Service
Classifications, is hereby amended as follows:
SECTION 1. That part-time salary ranges be created for all full-time equivalent
classifications.
SECTION 2. That part-time salaries for full-time equivalents be established by dividing
the annual salary of the full-time equivalent by 2080 hours.
SECTION 3. That Resolutions No. 9393 and 2001-55, as amended, relating to
classification and compensation of limited service positions are hereby further amended by this
Resolution.
SECTION 4. The effective date of this Resolution is November 2, 2004.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
