Resolution - 9729RESOLUTION NO. 9729 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING THE SALARY STRUCTURE FOR CLASSIFICATIONS REPRESENTED BY THE MID -MANAGEMENT EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION; CONFIDENTIAL/ EXEMPT EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION; GENERAL EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION; MAINTENANCE EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION; PUBLIC SAFETY DISPATCHERS ASSOCIATION AND THE UNREPRESENTED CLASSIFICATION OF COMMUNICATIONS SUPERVISOR. WHEREAS, Memorandums of Understanding have been entered into for the three- year period expiring June 30, 2000; and WHEREAS, all salaries are to be changed for Fiscal Year 1999-00, as part of said Memorandums of Understanding; and WHEREAS, the City of West Covina also provides salary adjustments deemed appropriate to unrepresented management employees classified as Communications Supervisor. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West Covina does hereby resolve as follows: SECTION 1. Salary. That effective June 26, 1999, Exhibit "A" of Resolution No. 9611, relating to salary structure for employees represented by the Mid -Management Employees' Association, is hereby amended by Exhibit "A" of this resolution; Exhibit "B" of Resolution No. 9351, relating to salary structure for employees represented by the Confidential/Exempt Employees' Association, is hereby amended by Exhibit "B" of this resolution; Exhibit `B" of Resolution 9611, relating to salary structure for employees represented by the General Employees' Association is hereby amended by Exhibit "C" of this resolution; Exhibit "B" of Resolution No. 9598, relating to salary structure for employees represented by the Maintenance Employees' Association, is hereby amended by Exhibit "D" of this resolution; Exhibit "A" of Resolution No. 9598, relating to salary structure for employees represented by the Public Safety Dispatchers Association, is hereby amended by Exhibit "E" of this resolution; and Exhibit "A" of Resolution No 9620, relating to salary structure for Communications Supervisors (non -represented, mid -management employees) is hereby amended by Exhibit "F" of this resolution; and Resolution No. 7223 relating to classification and compensation of positions is hereby amended. SECTION 2. The remaining portions of Resolutions No.7223, and 9462, as amended, shall remain in full force and effect until amended or repealed by Resolution of the City Council. SECTION 3. Budget allocation. The City Council does hereby commit an amount of money sufficient to fund these salary adjustments, as required by the MOD's for the life of this • resolution. SECTION 4. The effective date of this resolution is June 26, 1999. SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution.
