A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
COVINA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTION OF INTENTION
NO. 9665 BY APPROVING THE FIRST SUPPLEMENTAL WEED AND
RUBBISH ABATEMENT LIST.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of West Covina adopted Resolution of
Intention No. 9665 on March 16, 1999 for the abatement of weeds and rubbish on certain
• properties within the City; and
WHEREAS, certain additional properties have been neglected or abandoned as
described in the First Supplemental Weed and Rubbish Abatement List marked Exhibit "A" and
attached hereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of West
Covina as follows:
SECTION 1. The First Supplemental Weed and Rubbish Abatement List is hereby
approved and added to the 1999 Weed and Rubbish Abatement Program.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby instructed to mail a "Notice to Destroy Weeds
and to Remove Rubbish and Refuse", substantially in the form specified in Section 39566 of the
Government Code, to all owners of said property at the times and manner specified in said
Government Code.
SECTION 3. The City Council will, at the time of its regular meeting on June 15, 1999
at 7:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers in the City Hall of said City, hear and consider all
objections to the proposed removal of weeds, rubbish, and refuse.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED THIS June 1, DAY OF 1999.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
resolution.
