RESOLUTION NO. 9630
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
COVINA AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
A GRANT OF EASEMENT IN FAVOR OF SUBURBAN WATER
SYSTEMS.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of West Covina does hereby find and
determine that the public convenience and necessity require that a Grant of Easement
be executed in favor of Suburban Water Systems for the relocation of Suburban Water
Systems underground water distribution purposes over certain City owned property as
described in the attached Exhibit "A" and by reference hereto made a part hereof.
SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and instructed to
execute in the name of the City of West Covina a Grant of Easement, conveying all the
rights to Suburban Water Systems for installation and maintenance of underground
water line purposes, and cause said Grant of Easement to be filed for record in the
office of the County Recorder of said County.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 20" day of October, 1998.

Covina, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as per recorded in book 8 page
• 186 of Maps, on file in the Office of the County Recorder of said County, within a strip
of land 10.00 feet wide, lying 5.00 feet on each side of the following described
centerline:
Commencing at the most easterly corner of the parcel of land quitclaimed to the County
of Los Angeles by the City of West Covina described in Instrument No. 2148 recorded
on January 18, 1967 in book D3535, page 255 of official records of said County;
thence along the northerly prolongation of the southeasterly line of said parcel, North
180 45' 19" East, 168.00 feet to the beginning of the centerline of a easement granted
to Suburban Water Systems by the City of West Covina, 10 feet in width as described
in Instrument No. 3411 recorded on March 1, 1968 in book D3928, page 541 of
official records of said County; thence northwesterly along said centerline North 780
30' 00" West 264.00 feet; thence northerly along a line that is perpendicular to said
centerline North 11" 30' 00" East 5.00 feet to the northerly line of said easement to
Suburban Water Systems and the true point of beginning; thence continuing along said
perpendicular line North 11 ° 30' 00" East 140.00 feet; thence North 780 30' 00" West
63.00 feet to the easterly line of said easement to Suburban Water System.

Covina, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as per recorded in book 8 page
186 of Maps, on file in the Office of the County Recorder of said County, described as
