Resolution - 9622RESOLUTION NO. 9622 • A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZNG THE EXECUTION OF A CORPORATION QUITCLAIM DEED IN FAVOR OF THE VILLAGE OF EAST HILLS, A CALIFORNIA LIMITED PARTNERSHIP. The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of West Covina does hereby find and determine that: Parcel 1 That portion of lot 7, Tract No. 10330, as shown on the map recorded in Book 161, pages 22 to 31, inclusive, of Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Los Angeles described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Range Avenue 66 feet wide, now vacated, as shown on the Map of the McCarthy Company's Subdivision of Block 1, Hollenbeck Tract, in the Rancho La Puente, recorded in Book 3, Page 23, of Record of Surveys, in the Office of Said County Recorder, With the Southeasterly boundary of that certain 50-foot strip of land described in deed to the Los Angeles County Flood Control. District for Walnut Creek Wash, recorded in Book 977, Page 148 of Official Records of said County; Thence South 0° 28' 20",East along said centerline 514.50 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave to the east and having a radius of 5,000 feet; Thence southerly along said curve 329.19 feet through a central angle of 30 46' 20'; Thence South 40 14' 40" East tangent to said curve 1,066.90 feet; Thence North 850 45' 20" East, perpendicular to said centerline, 42 feet to the True Point of Beginning; Thence continuing along said perpendicular line North 850 45' 20" East 8 feet; Thence North 40 14' 40" West parallel with said centerline 85 feet; Thence North 10 58' 53" East 276.63 feet; Thence North 30 23' 36" West 280.67 feet to the southerly line of the deed recorded in Book d5085 Page 900 of Official Records of said County; Thence westerly along the southerly line of said deed South 84' 43' 01" West 0.08 feet to the Southeasterly corner of said deed; Thence North 550 59' 36" West 66.33 feet to the intersection of the Southerly line of the Northerly 50 feet of said lot 7 and a line parallel with and 32 feet Easterly of the said centerline having a bearing of South 4° 14' 40" East; Thence Southerly South 40 14' 40" East along said parallel line 71.67 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave easterly having a radius of 1,990.00 feet; Thence Southerly along said curve through a central angle of 10 25' 55" an arc length of 49.73 feet; Thence tangent to said curve South 50 40' 35" East 350.18 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave westerly having a radius of 2,010.00 feet; Thence southerly along said curve through a central angle of 10 25' 55" an are length of 50.23 feet to a tangent line that is parallel with and 42 feet easterly of said centerline having a gearing of ' South 40 14' 40" East; Thence South 4° 14' 40" East along said parallel line 160.00 feet to the True Point of Beginning. Parcel 2 That portion of lot 7 of Tract No. 10030, as shown on the map recorded in Book 161, pages 22 to 31, inclusive, of Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Los Angeles described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Range Avenue 66 feet wide, now vacated, as shown on the Map of the McCarthy Company's Subdivision of Block 1, Hollenbeck Tract, in the Rancho La Puente, recorded in Book 3, Page 23, of Record of Surveys, in the Office of Said County Recorder, with the Southeasterly boundary of that certain 50-foot strip of land described in deed to the Los Angeles County Flood Control District for Walnut Creek Wash, recorded in • Book 977, Page 148 of Official Records of said County; Thence South 0° 28' 20" East along said centerline 514.50 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave to the east and having a radius of 5,000 feet; Thence southerly along said curve 329.19 feet through a central angle of 30 46' 20"; Thence South 40 14' 40" East tangent to said curve 1,066.90 feet; Thence North 85' 45' 20" East, perpendicular to said centerline, 120.00 feet to the True Point of Beginning; Thence South 40 14' 40" East parallel with said centerline 75.00 feet; Thence South 85045' 20" West 35.00 feet to a line parallel with and 35.00 feet westerly of said line having a bearing of South 40 14' 40" East; Thence North 40 14' 40" West along said parallel line 75.00 feet to said perpendicular line having a bearing of North 85 45' 20" East; Thence North 850 45' 20" East 35.00 feet to the True Point of Beginning. Are no longer needed for public purpose for which they were acquired or for any other public purpose, and that the public convenience and necessity require that the same be quitclaimed to The Village of East Hills, a California Limited Partnership. SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and instructed to execute in the name of the City of West Covina a Quitclaim Deed conveying all right, title and interest of the City of West Covina in and to said real property to The Village of East Hills, a California Limited Partnership and cause the said Quitclaim Deed and a certified copy of this resolution to be filed for record in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Los Angeles. SECTION 3 resolution.
