RESOLUTION NO. _ - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA
ESTABISHING A TOW -AWAY ZONE ON SATURDAYS
FROM 4:00 A.M. THROUGH 6:00 A.M. IN THE CITY
PARKING LOT EASTERLY OF GLENDORA AVENUE
BETWEEN LAKES DRIVE AND DALEWOOD STREET.
WHEREAS, any vehicles parked in the City parking lot easterly of Glendora
Avenue between Lakes Drive and Dalewood Street conflict with the operation of the
Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings; and
WHEREAS, California Vehicle Code Section 22651(N) provides for towing of
vehicles from City property; now
THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West Covina, California hereby
finds that parking in the City parking lot easterly of Glendora Avenue between Lakes
Drive and Dalewood Street is prohibited on Saturdays from 4:00 a.m. through 6:00 a.m.
and that any vehicles parked in violation of that prohibition shall be subject to towing at
the discretion of a West Covina Police Officer under provisions of the California Vehicle
Code Section 22651(N).
SECTION 1. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
