RESOLUTION NO. 9469
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING PHILIP
CLAYTON TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION TO FILL
AN UNEXPIRED TERM OF OFFICE
WHEREAS, on March 4, 1997, Planning Commissioner Richard Melendez was elected
to a seat on the City Council of the City of West Covina, thereby vacating his seat on the
West Covina Planning Commission;
NOW THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby appoint Philip Clayton to the
Planning Commission to fill the unexpired term of office expiring June 30, 2000.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and
shall transmit a certified copy thereof to Mr. Clayton.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 1 st day of July, 1997.
