A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING
RESOLUTION NO. 9436, RELATING TO MANAGEMENT
COMPENSATION; AND RESOLUTION NO. 7223, AS
AMENDED, RELATING TO CLASSIFICATION AND
COMPENSATION OF POSITIONS.
WHEREAS, the City of West Covina provides salary adjustments deemed
appropriate to Management employees who are unrepresented; and
WHEREAS, the City of West Covina has examined the adjustments provided
to other represented groups of City employees; and
WHEREAS, the City of West Covina has determined that the contributions of
certain Management employees warrant recognition in relation to the represented employees;
and
WHEREAS, salary adjustments for those Management employees have been
deemed appropriate;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West Covina does
resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That Exhibit "A" of Resolution No. 9346, relating to
management salaries, is hereby amended by Exhibit "A" of this Resolution, effective January
11, 1997.
SECTION 2. That the remaining provisions of Resolution Nos. 9346 and
7223, as amended, shall remain in full force and effect until amended as repealed by
Resolution of the City Council.

SECTION 3. That the effective date of this Resolution is January 11, 1997.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
