RESOLUTION NO. 9374
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA AMENDING APPENDIX "C" OF
RESOLUTION NO. 9239, THE CITY'S CURRENT SALARY RANGE
STRUCTURE FOR EMPLOYEES IN THE WEST COVINA POLICE
OFFICERS' ASSOCIATION; AND RESOLUTION NO. 7223,
RELATING TO CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION OF
POSITIONS AS AMENDED.
WHEREAS, the City of West Covina has met and conferred and entered into labor agreement
with the West Covina Police Officers' Association. '
WHEREAS, the City and the represented employees have agreed upon certain changes to
salaries pursuant to agreements previously approved by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City and represented employees have made commitment to assertively seek
sources of revenue, savings, and work efficiencies;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. Salary. That Appendix "C" of Resolution No. 9239, the City's current salary
range structure for employees represented by the West Covina Police Officers' Association, is hereby
amended by Appendix "A" of this Resolution; and Resolution No. 7223 relating to the classification
and compensation of positions is hereby amended.
SECTION 2. Budizet Allocation. The City Council does hereby appropriate an amount of
money sufficient to fund these salary adjustments for the life of this Resolution.
SECTION 3. The remaining provisions of Resolution Nos. 9239 and 7223, as amended, shall
remain in full force and effect until amended or repealed by Resolution of the City Council.
SECTION 4. The effective date of this Resolution is June 29, 1996.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
