RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA ACTING AS THE
LEGISLATIVE BODY OF COMMUNITY FACILITIES
DISTRICT NO. 91-1 OF THE CITY OF WEST
COVINA (SOUTH HILLS) DETERMINING NOT TO
LEVY CERTAIN SPECIAL TAXES OF SAID
COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT AND
AUTHORIZING THE RECORDATION OF A NOTICE
40 OF CESSATION IN CONNECTION THEREWITH.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of, West Covina, acting in its
capacity as the legislative body of Community Facilities District No. 91-1 of the
City of West Covina (South Hills) ("CFD No. 91-1"), has previously authorized
the levy of a special tax on all non-exempt property within CFD No. 91-1 (the
"Special Tax"); and
WHEREAS, no bonds have been heretofore issued on behalf of CFD No.
91-1, and the Special Tax has no heretofore been levied on any property within
CFD No. 91-1; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does not anticipate issuing bonds on behalf of
CFD No. 91-1 in the future and therefore it will not be necessary to levy the
Special Tax; and
WHEREAS, the fact that the City Council still has the power to levy die
Special Tax may tend to concern and confuse the owners and potential purchasers
of property within CFD No. 91-1; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is necessary and desirable
to eliminate the power to levy the Special Tax;
Now therefore, the City Council of the City of West Covina, California,
acting in its capacity as the legislative body of Community Facilities District No.
91-1 of the City of West Covina (South Hills) does hereby resolve, determine and
order as follows:
Section 1. The above recitals are all true and correct,
Section 2. The Special Tax heretofore authorized to be levied in CFD No.
91-1, as identified in that certain Amended and Restated Notice of Special Tax Lien
of CFD No. 91-1, recorded on March 21, 1991, as Document Number 91-400835
shall cease to be levied on the property within CFD No. 91-1.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed and authorized to record a
Notice of Cessation of Special Tax for all the property within CFD No. 91-1 in
accordance with Government Code Section 5333.05. The Notice of Cessation of
Special Tax shall be executed by the City Clerk and recorded in the records of the
County Recorder of the County of Los Angeles in substantially the form attached
hereto as Exhibit "A".
Section 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.

OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA (SOUTH HILLS)
Pursuant to California Government Code Section 5333.05, the City Council of the City of West
Covina, acting as the legislative body of Community Facilities District No. 91-1 of the City of
West Covina (South Hills) ("CFD No. 91-1") has determined that the special tax heretofore
authorized to be levied by CFD No. 91-1 shall cease to be levied. Accordingly, the obligation to
pay such special tax has ceased and the lien imposed on the properties within said Community
Facilities District by the Amended and Restated Notice of Special Tax Lien recorded as
Document No. 91-400835 on March 6, 1991, with the County Recorder of Los Angeles County,
State of California, is extinguished. The boundary map for CFD No. 91-1 was recorded
February 6, 1991, as Document Number 91-180805 in Book 171 at Page 5 the Book of Maps of
Assessment and Community Facilities Districts maintained by the County Recorder of the
County of Los Angeles, State of California.
