A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
COVINA, CALIFORNIA APPROVING THE SALE AND CONSUMPTION
OF BEER AND WINE BY THE ROTARY CLUB OF WEST COVINA
FUND RAISER ON MARCH 2, 1996 AT THE WEST COVINA SENIOR
CITIZENS CENTER.
WHEREAS, the West Covina Senior Citizens Center is available for special events by
community organizations, and
WHEREAS, the consumption of alcoholic beverages at the Senior Citizens Center is only
permitted with the City Council approval, and
WHEREAS, the Rotary Club of West Covina has requested permission to use the West Covina
Senior Citizens Center and sell and serve beer and wine at the fund raising event.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The West Covina Senior Citizens Center will be reserved for use by the Rotary
Club of West Covina for its fund raiser event on March 2, 1996 from 6 p.m. to
10 P.M.
SECTION 2. The sale and consumption of beer and wine is hereby approved for this event.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of November, 1995.
