A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
COVINA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING EXHIBIT "A" OF RESOLUTION NO.
6482, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO CONFIDENTIAL SERVICES; AND
RESOLUTION NO. 7223, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO CLASSIFICATION
AND COMPENSATION OF POSITIONS.
WHEREAS, the City of West Covina provides salary adjustments deemed appropriate to
Confidential employees who are unrepresented; and
WHEREAS, the City of West Covina has examined salary adjustments provided to other
represented groups of City employees; and
WHEREAS, the City of West Covina has determined that the contribution of Confidential
employees warrant recognition in relation to represented employees;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West Covina does hereby resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1. Salary. That Exhibit "A" of Resolution No. 6482, as amended, relating to
Confidential services, is hereby amended by Appendix "A" of this Resolution; and Resolution
No. 7223, relating to classification and compensation of positions, is hereby amended by this
Resolution.
SECTION 2. Budget Allocation. The City Council does hereby appropriate an amount
of money sufficient to fund these salary adjustments for the life of the Resolution.
SECTION 3.. The remaining provisions of Resolution No. 7223, as amended; shall
remain in full force and effect until amended or repealed by resolution of the City Council.
SECTION 4. The effective date of this Resolution is July 1, 1995.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
