A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING FINAL MAP OF
TRACT NO. 51749 AND DIRECTING THE RECORDATION
THEREOF. (SHEA HOMES)
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to this meeting by the owner and subdivider
thereof, a final subdivision map of Tract No. 51749 which has been approved by the Planning
Commission and by the City Engineer; and
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to this meeting a proposed agreement by the
subdivider for the construction of certain improvements within or for said subdivision; and
WHEREAS, said proposed agreement is accompanied by surety bonds of the faithful
performance of the terms and conditions of said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve as
follows:
SECTION 1. That the final subdivision map of Tract No. 51749 submitted to this
meeting be and the same is hereby approved.
SECTION 2. That the dedication therein offered by and the same is hereby accepted
for public use, subject to any restriction to be filed and recorded therewith; and that the proper
officers of the City of West Covina be and they are hereby authorize and instructed to approve
said final map on behalf of the City.
SECTION 3. That the proposed agreement by the subdivider in the form submitted to
this meeting be accepted.
SECTION 4. That Bonds Nos. 15-79-36, 15-79-37, 15-79-35 and 15-79-34, presented
as security for the faithful performance of the terms and conditions of said agreement with Shea
Homes, as Principal, and American Home Assurance Company, as Surety, -in the total sum of
Five Hundred Ninety Eight Thousand Dollars ($598,000.00) be and the same hereby are
accepted.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution.
SECTION 6. That the City Clerk shall transmit a certified copy of this Resolution to
Charter Communications.
