A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF WEST
COVINA, CALIFORNIA APPROVING THE USE OF THE CIVIC CENTER
COURTYARD BY THE "I SHALL RETURN 1994-95 COALITION"
JUNE 24, 1995
WHEREAS, the Civic Center Courtyard has been designed for special events and
activities; and
WHEREAS, the use of this area by community organizations is permitted and
encouraged; and
WHEREAS, the "I SHALL RETURN 1994-95 COALITION" has requested use of the
Courtyard to conduct a Filipino Fiesta to raise community awareness of the positive
contributions of Filipinos in this Country; and
WHEREAS, this event is cosponsored by the City of West Covina;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Courtyard will be reserved for use by the "I SHALL RETURN 1994-
9E COALITION' for their Filipino Fiesta fund raiser on June 24, 1995
from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
SECTION 2. The use of a public address system is hereby approved for this event.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of June, 1995.
