RESOLUTION NO. 9193
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF WEST
COVINA, CALIFORNIA APPROVING THE USE OF THE CIVIC CENTER
COURTYARD BY THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ON JUNE S, 1995
WHEREAS, the Civic Center Courtyard has been designed for special events and
activities; and
WHEREAS, the use of this area by community organizations is permitted and
encouraged; and
WHEREAS, the consumption of alcohol in public places is permitted by Ordinance
#1770 and 1918; and
WHEREAS, the West Covina Chamber of Commerce has requested use of the Courtyard
to conduct their installation of officers, and volunteer of the year awards; and
WHEREAS, the West Covina Chamber of Commerce has requested permission to serve
wine and beer at this event;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Courtyard will be reserved for use by the West Covina Chamber of
Commerce for their installation of officers and volunteer awards on June 8, 1995
from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
SECTION 2. The use of a public address system, consumption of wine and beer, and admission
fee is hereby approved for this event.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
