A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
COVINA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTIONS NOS. 8610, 8906,
and 6482, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO MANAGEMENT AND
CONFIDENTIAL SERVICES; AND RESOLUTION NO. 7223, AS
AMENDED, RELATING TO CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION
OF POSITIONS.
WHEREAS, the City of West Covina provides salary adjustments deemed appropriate to
Management and Confidential employees who are unrepresented; and
WHEREAS, the City of West Covina has examined the salary adjustments provided to
other represented groups of City employees during 1994; and
WHEREAS, the City of West Covina has determined that the contributions of certain
Mid -Management and Management employees warrant recognition in relation to the represented
employees who have received salary adjustments in conjunction with labor agreements; and
WHEREAS, salary adjustments for those Mid -Management and Management employees
have been deemed appropriate;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve as
follows:
SECTION 1. That Appendix "A" of Resolution 8610, as amended, and Appendix "A" of
Resolution No. 8906, as amended, relating to management salaries, are hereby amended by Appendix
"A" of this Resolution, effective November 5, 1994.
SECTION 2. That the remaining provisions of Resolutions 8906 and 7223, as amended,
shall remain in full force and effect until amended as repealed by Resolution of the City Council.
SECTION 3. That the effective date of this Resolution is November 5, 1994.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
