A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
COVINA, CALIFORNIA APPROVING A PARK FEE REDUCTION FOR
PRECISE PLAN NO. 845.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission approved Precise Plan No. 845 on
December 14, 1993; and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 9043 on January 4, 1994
upholding the Planning Commission decision to approve Precise Plan No. 845; and
WHEREAS, Section 26-204(b) of the West Covina Municipal Code provides for
and the applicant has requested a reduction in the amount of fee imposed, on the basis
of a reduced population density; and
WHEREAS, through its investigations, staff has confirmed the justification of
applying a reduced population density to the project for purposes of calculating park
fees; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by this Council that 1.25 persons is an
appropriate figure to apply to said Precise Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve as
follows:
1. Approve a park fee reduction for Precise Plan No. 845, assuming an average of
1.25 persons per household.
2. Forward a copy of this Resolution to the applicant and Building and Engineering
Department, respectively, for their attention.
3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution.
