RESOLUTION NO. 91
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
COVINA CONFIRMING THE REPORT OF THE FIRE CHIEF OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA DATED JULY 19, 1994, MADE PURSUANT TO
THE PROVISIONS ON THE GOVERNMENT CODE, CHAPTER 13,
ARTICLE 2, SECTIONS 39574 THROUGH 39576.5 LEVYING THE
ASSESSMENTS FOR THE WEED AND RUBBISH ABATEMENT PROGRAM
FOR 1994.
WHEREAS, the Fire Chief for the City of West Covina's
report for the Weed and Rubbish Abatement Program throughout the
City, pursuant to Resolution No. 9072 was posted on April 19, 1994,
and
WHEREAS, all proceeding in connection therewith have been
in accordance with law; and
WHEREAS, at a public hearing on said report, which
hearing was held on July 19, 1994, there were no objections,
protests, or appeals;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
COVINA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the report of the Fire Chief of the City
of West Covina levying the assessments, plus 130% administrative
fee, for the 1994 Weed and Rubbish Abatement Program be, and the
same hereby is, confirmed and approved.
SECTION 2. That the Fire Chief of the City of West
Covina shall forthwith attach a warrant bearing the date of this
order to said report.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall file a certified
copy of this resolution and weed abatement lien report with the Los
Angeles County Auditor -Controller in accordance with Section 39579
of the Government Code.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution, and henceforth and thereafter the same
shall be in full force and effect.
