A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
COVINA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 7223,
RELATING TO CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION OF
POSITIONS, AS AMENDED, AND AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 8907
RELATING TO CLASSIFIED SALARIES, AND APPROVING THE
RECLASSIFICATION OF A CLASSIFIED NON-EXEMPT BUILDING
PERMIT CLERK POSITION AND ONE ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN
POSITION TO THE POSITION OF BUILDING/ENGINEERING PERMIT
TECHNICIAN.
WHEREAS, the Building/Engineering Department has
revised its organizational structure to utilize the position of
Building/Engineering Permit Technician; and
WHEREAS, the Personnel Commission has reviewed and
recommends approval of the new class specification for
Building/Engineering Permit Technician;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West
Covina, California, does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That the class specification for
Building/Engineering Permit Technician, attached and marked
"Exhibit A," is hereby adopted.
SECTION 2. That a five -step salary range of $2236 -
$2348 - $2465 - $2588 - $2717 is hereby adopted for
Building/Engineering Permit Technician.
SECTION 3. Resolution 7223, as amended, relating to
classification and compensation of positions, is hereby further
amended by this resolution.
SECTION 4. The effective date of this resolution is
March 15, 1994.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution.
