RESOLUTION NO. 9058
A RESOLUTION OF THE WEST COVINA CITY COUNCIL
ESTABLISHING VOTING PRECINCTS AND POLLING
PLACES, APPOINTING PRECINCT WORKERS AND FIXING
COMPENSATION FOR THE APRIL 12, 1994 ELECTION
WHEREAS, a General Municipal Election will be conducted in the City of
West Covina on Tuesday, April 12, 1994, as ordered by Resolution No.
9025, adopted on October 19, 1993.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF WEST COVINA DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE AND
ORDER AS FOLLOW:
SECTION 1. That for the purpose of holding the General Municipal
Election, there is established twenty voting precincts consisting of
consolidations of the regular election precincts in the City of West
Covina established for the holding of state and county elections, as
the regular election precincts exist on the date of adoption of this
resolution. That the polling places for the respective precincts
shall be the places designated; and that the persons named, being
competent and voters and residents of the city, are appointed
precinct board members for their respective voting precincts and they
shall conduct the election in the manner provided by law.

SECTION 2. That the compensation of the persons named as precinct board
members is fixed at the sum of $55.00 for each Inspector and $45.00
for each Clerk. The rental for each polling place, where a charge
is made, shall be the sum of $25.00. When required, the compensation
of the Custodian of a building shall be $12.50.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption
of this resolution and enter it into the book of original
resolutions.
