A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
COVINA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTION OF INTENTION
NO. 8952 BY APPROVING THE SECOND SUPPLEMENTAL WEED AND
RUBBISH ABATEMENT LIST.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of West Covina
adopted Resolution of Intention No. 8952 on April 6, 1993, for the
abatement of weeds and rubbish on certain properties within the
City; and,
WHEREAS, certain additional properties have been
neglected or abandoned as described in the Second Supplemental Weed
and Rubbish Abatement List marked Exhibit "A" and attached hereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of West Covina as follows:
SECTION 1. The Second Supplemental Weed and Rubbish
Abatement List is hereby approved and added to the 1993 Weed and
Rubbish Abatement Program.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby instructed to mail
a "Notice to Destroy Weeds and to Remove Rubbish and Refuse",
substantially in the form specified in Section 39566 0£ the
Government Code, to all owners of said property at the times and
manner specified in said Government Code.
SECTION 3. The City Council will, at the time of its
regular meeting on October 19, 1993, at 7:30 p.m., in the Council
Chambers in the City Hall of said City, hear and consider all
objection to the proposed removal of weeds, rubbish, and refuse.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly
adopted by the City Council of the City of West Covina at a regular
meeting thereof, held on the 5th day of October 1993 by the
