RESOLUTION NO. 8956
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
COVINA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 8781,
RELATING TO BENEFITS FOR MANAGEMENT AND CONFIDENTIAL
EMPLOYEES; AND, RESOLUTION NO. 7223, AS AMENDED
RELATING TO CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION OF
POSITIONS.
WHEREAS, the City of West Covina has provided health benefit
adjustments for employees of the General Employees' Association;
and
WHEREAS, the City of West Covina desires to maintain uniform
health benefits between employees in the General Employees'
Association and Management and Confidential employees; and
WHEREAS, health benefit adjustments have been granted to the
General Employees' Association effective July 1, 1993, pursuant
to Resolution No. 8770;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West Covina
does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. Effective July 1, 1993, the City will contribute
$442 per month to a flexible benefit program for all Management
and Confidential employees to offset the employee cost of health
insurance.
SECTION 2. The City Council does hereby appropriate an
amount of money sufficient to fund these benefit adjustments for
the life of this Resolution.
SECTION 3. The remaining provisions of Resolution No. 8781
and Resolution No. 7223, as amended, shall remain in full force
and effect until amended or appealed by resolution of the City
Council.
SECTION 4. The effective date of this Resolution is July 1,
1993.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution.
