A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE CONSUMPTION OF BEER AND WINE
BY THE TINAJERO FAMILY AND GUESTS FOR A FAMILY PRESENTATION
ON APRIL 17, 1993 AT THE WEST COVINA SENIOR CITIZENS' CENTER
FROM 5:00 P.M. TO 12:00 A.M.
WHEREAS, the West Covina Senior Citizens' Center is available for special
events and activities by community organizations, and
WHEREAS, the consumption of alcohol, in public places is only permitted
by Resolution of the City Council (Ordinance No. 1770); and
WHEREAS, Esperanza Tinajero of Valinda has requested permission to use
the West Covina Senior Citizens' Center and serve beer and wine at a family
presentation.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA RESOLVES AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The West Covina Senior Citizens' Center will be reserved for
use by the Tinajero family at a family presentation on April
17, 1993 from 5:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
SECTION 2. The consumption of beer and wine is hereby approved for this
event.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
