RESOLUTION NO. 8927
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE CONSUMPTION OF BEER AND WINE
BY THE LARREA FAMILY AND GUESTS
ON MARCH 20, 1993, AT THE SHADOW OAK COMMUNITY CENTER
FROM 6:30 P.M. TO 12:30 A.M.
WHEREAS, the West Covina Shadow Oak Community Center is available for special
events and activities by community organizations, and
WHEREAS, the consumption of alcohol in public places is only permitted
by Resolution of the City Council (Ordinance No. 1770); and
WHEREAS, Mrs. L. Larrea has requested permission to use the Shadow Oak
Community Center and serve beer and wine at the wedding reception of her
niece.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA RESOLVES AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The West Covina Shadow Oak Community Center will be reserved
for use by Mrs. L. Larrea for the wedding reception of her
niece on March 20, 1993, from 6:30 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.
SECTION 2. The consumption of beer and wine is hereby approved for this
event.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
