RESOLUTION NO. 6926
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE CONSUMPTION OF BEER AND WINE
BY THE HERNANDEZ FAMILY AND GUESTS
ON MARCH 13, 1993, AT THE SHADOW OAK COMMUNITY CENTER
FROM 6:00 P.M. TO 12:00 A.M.
WHEREAS, the West Covina Shadow Oak Community Center is available for special
events and activities by community organizations, and
WHEREAS, the consumption of alcohol in public places is only permitted
by Resolution of the City Council (Ordinance No. 1770); and
WHEREAS, the Hernandez family of West Covina has requested permission to
use the Shadow Oak Community Center and serve beer and wine at its family
presentation.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA RESOLVES AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The West Covina Shadow Oak Community Center will be reserved
for use by the Hernandez family of West Covina for its family
presentation on March 13, 1993 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
SECTION 2. The consumption of beer and wine is hereby approved for this
event.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
