A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, CASTING ITS VOTES
FOR COUNCILMEMBER BRADLEY J. MCFADDEN TO
REPRESENT CITIES WITHOUT PUMPING RIGHTS ON THE
BOARD OF THE SAN GABRIEL BASIN WATER QUALITY
AUTHORITY.
• WHEREAS, on September 22, 1992, Senate Bill 1679 was signed into
law by Governor Pete Wilson authorizing the creation of the San
Gabriel Basin Water Quality Authority; and
WHEREAS, the Board of the San Gabriel Basin Water Quality Authority
will be composed of five members with three appointed members from
each of the three municipal water districts, one elected city
council person from cities in the San Gabriel Basin with water
pumping rights, and one elected city council person from cities in
the San Gabriel Basin without water pumping rights; and
WHEREAS, the City of West Covina is one of the cities in the San
Gabriel Basin without water pumping rights; and
WHEREAS, the City of West Covina may cast its votes for a
representative by resolution no later than February 10, 1993 at
5:00 p.m.
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA,
CALIFORNIA DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of West Covina casts
its full 10 votes for Councilmember Bradley J. McFadden as the
representative for cities in the San Gabriel Basin without pumping
rights.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the City Council of the City of West Covina at a regular
meeting thereof held on February 2. 1993 , by the following
vote of the Council:
