A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE CONSUMPTION OF BEER AND WINE
AT THE WEDDING RECEPTION OF MR. STEPHEN C. OLIVAS
ON JULY 24, 1993, AT THE SHADOW OAK COMMUNITY CENTER
C=` WHEREAS, the West Covina Shadow Oak Community Center is available for special
events and activities by community organizations, and
• WHEREAS, the consumption of alcohol in public places is only permitted by
Resolution of the City Council (Ordinance No. 1770); and
WHEREAS, Mr. Stephen C. Olivas has requested permission to use the Shadow
Oak Community Center and serve beer and wine at his wedding reception;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA RESOLVES AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The West Covina Shadow Oak Community Center will be reserved
for use by Mr. Stephen C. Olivas for his wedding reception on
July 24, 1993, from 3:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
SECTION 2. The consumption of beer and wine is hereby approved for this
event.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
