A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, VACATING AND
ABANDONING AN OFFER OF DEDICATION FOR OPEN
SPACE PURPOSES ON THE FINAL MAP OF TRACT NO.
44564 (GLENFED DEVELOPMENT CORP.)
• WHEREAS, Glenfed Development Corp. has developed a subdivision utilizing
open space lots and offered these lots to the City of West Covina on the Final Map of Tract
No. 44564; and
WHEREAS, the City of West Covina does not require nor desire these lots for
public open space purposes, a vacation of the irrevocable offer of dedication for the open
space lots is being initiated.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West Covina does
resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Sections 8330 to 8336, inclusive, of the Streets and
Highways Code, the City Council of the City of West Covina hereby finds and determines
that the following described irrevocable offer of dedication for open space has not been used
for the purpose for which it was offered:
Lots 69, 70, 71, 72, and 73 of Tract No. 44564, in the City of
West Covina, County of Los Angeles, State of California, per
map recorded in Book 1101, Pages 28 through 36, inclusive of
maps on file in the office of the County Recorder of said
County.
SECTION 2. These offers of dedication described in Section 1 are hereby
summarily vacated and abandoned.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution
and shall cause a certified copy thereof to be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder
of said County.
