A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING THE CITY
ENGINEER TO PREPARE AND FILE A REPORT IN
ACCORDANCE WITH ARTICLE 4, CHAPTER 1, PART 2,
"LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING ACT OF 1972", BEING
• DIVISION 15, STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE
STATE OF CALIFORNIA, FOR THE INSTALLATION OF THE
LANDSCAPING AND THE MAINTENANCE THEREOF, IN THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR COMMENCING JULY 1, 1993 AND ENDING JUNE 30,
1994.
WEST COVINA LANDSCAPING MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NO. 6 (1993-1994)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of West Covina, California,
proposes to levy an annual assessment pursuant to the "Landscaping and Lighting Act of
1972", being Division 15, Part 2, of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California; and
WHEREAS, it is proposed that said Maintenance District shall maintain
certain landscaping and appurtenant facilities that exist in the area of the City commonly
referred to as WEST COVINA LANDSCAPING DISTRICT NO. 6 (1992-1993); and
WHEREAS, it is proposed that another phase of survey monumentation of
open space areas be done; and
WHEREAS, no new improvements nor substantial changes in existing
improvements within said WEST COVINA LANDSCAPING MAINTENANCE DISTRICT
NO. 6 (1992-1993) are proposed;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West Covina does
hereby resolve, as follows: .
SECTION 1. That the City Engineer is hereby ordered to prepare and file a
REPORT in accordance with Article 4, Chapter 1, Part 2, "Landscaping and Lighting Act of
1972", being Division 15, Part 2, Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, for
the maintenance of said landscaping and appurtenant facilities in said District for the fiscal
year commencing July 1, 1993 and ending June 30, 1994, all as set forth in this resolution.
SECTION 2. That a certified copy of this resolution be presented to said City
Engineer for his information and guidance.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk of the City of West Covina shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution.
