A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTION
NO. 6482, AS AMENDED, AS RELATING TO MANAGEMENT AND
CONFIDENTIAL SERVICES; AND RESOLUTION
NO. 7223, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO CLASSIFICATION
AND COMPENSATION OF POSITIONS.
• WHEREAS, the City of West Covina provides salary and benefit
adjustments as deemed appropriate to Management employees; and
WHEREAS, the City of West Covina has determined the need for
equitable adjustments similar to those provided other groups of City
employees; and
WHEREAS, cost of living adjustments have been deemed
appropriate for certain mid -management employees; and
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West Covina
does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That Appendix "A" of Resolution No. 6482, as
amended, relating to Management salaries, is hereby amended by
Exhibit "A" of this Resolution, effective December 1, 1992.
SECTION 2. Effective January 1993 and terminating with the
monthly contribution of December 1993, the City will contribute an
additional $35 per month to deferred compensation for all specified
mid -management positions as shown on Exhibit "A".
SECTION 3. The remaining provisions of Resolution
No. 6482 and Resolution No. 7223, as amended, shall remain in full
force and effect until amended or repealed by resolution of the City
Council.
SECTION 4. The effective date of this Resolution is
December 1, 1992.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution.
