A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
COVINA, CALIFORNIA APPROVING THE SALE AND CONSUMPTION OF
BEER AND WINE BY THE WEST COVINA SENIOR CITIZENS
ASSOCIATION ON DECEMBER 19, 1992 AT THE WEST COVINA
• SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER.
WHEREAS, the West Covina Senior Citizens Center is available for •
special events and activities by community organizations, and
WHEREAS, the consumption of alcohol in public places is only
permitted by Resolution of the City Council (Ordinance No. 1770);
and
WHEREAS, the West Covina Senior Citizens Association has requested
permission to use the Senior Citizens Center and serve beer and
wine at their Christmas Dinner/Dance;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The West Covina Senior Citizens Center will be
reserved for use by the West Covina Senior Citizens
Association for its Christmas Dinner/Dance on
December 19, 1992 from 6 p.m. to 12 midnight.
SECTION 2. The sale and consumption of beer and wine is hereby
approved for this event.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution.
