A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, VACATING AND
ABANDONING CERTAIN EASEMENTS, WHICH HAVE
BEEN SUPERSEDED BY RELOCATION.
(Centermark Properties of West Covina, Inc.)
• WHEREAS, Centermark Properties of West Covina, Inc. has requested the
vacation of a portion certain easements; and
WHEREAS, the expansion of the Plaza at West Covina requires the removal
of these easements; and
WHEREAS, the non-use renders the easements no longer needed for public
sanitary sewer purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West Covina does
resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Sections 8330 to 8336, inclusive, of the Streets and
Highways Code, the City Council of the City of West Covina hereby finds and determines
that the following described easement has been superseded by relocation:
Parcel 1:
THAT CERTAIN TRAFFIC SIGNAL EASEMENT, RECORDED ON
MARCH 10, 1967, AS INSTRUMENT NO. 2751, IN BOOK D-3580, PAGE
369 OF OFFICIAL RECORDS.
Parcel 2:
THOSE CERTAIN SANITARY SEWER EASEMENTS RECORDED
ON MAY 3, 1960, IN BOOK D-807, PAGE 144; RECORDED ON
MAY 31, 1960, IN BOOK D-833, PAGE 859; RECORDED ON
APRIL 7, 1960, IN BOOK D-807, PAGE 142, OF OFFICIAL
RECORDS.
SECTION 2. The easements described in Section 1 are hereby summarily
vacated and abandoned.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution
and shall cause a certified copy thereof to be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder
of said County.
