A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, VACATING AND
ABANDONING A PORTION OF A SEWER EASEMENT
WHICH HAS BEEN
(T.J. Maxx)
BY RELOCATION.
WHEREAS, T.J. Maxx has requested the vacation of a portion of a certain
sanitary sewer easement; and
WHEREAS, that portion of the sewer line will be privately owned and
maintained; and
WHEREAS, the privately owned sewer line renders the sanitary sewer
easement no longer needed for public sanitary sewer purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West Covina does
resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Sections 1930 to 1934, inclusive, of the Streets and
Highways Code, the City Council of the City of West Covina hereby finds and determines
that the following described easement has been superseded by relocation:
That portion of Parcel 2 of Parcel Map No. 15400, In the City of West Covina,
County of Los Angeles, State of California, as per map filed in Book 161, on Pages
67 and 68 of Parcel Maps, Records of Los Angeles County described as follows:
THE NORTHEASTERLY 23 FEET OF AN EASEMENT, 15
FEET WIDE, IN FAVOR OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA
FOR SANITARY SEWER PURPOSES RECORDED JULY 12,
1983 AS INSTRUMENT NO. 83-785210, OFFICIAL
RECORDS OF SAID COUNTY.
SECTION 2. That sanitary sewer easement described in Section 1 is hereby
summarily vacated and abandoned.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution
and shall cause a certified copy thereof to be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder
of said County.
