A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING
RESOLUTION NO. 8694 RELATING TO SCHEDULE OF
FEES.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does hereby resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. Effective August 1, 1992, the Schedule of fees adopted by Resolution No.
• 8694 is hereby amended to read as follows:

City Engineer. Agreement, 100% Faithful Performance guarantee, approved Engineer's Cost

work in public areas, contractor's license, City Business License, and approved plans required
prior to issuance of permit.

SECTION 2. That the fees imposed by Section 1 hereof shall be increased or decreased
annually as of July 1 of each calendar year in an amount equal to the increase of decrease from the base
index in the then latest available Consumer Price Index, as prepared and released by the U.S.
Department of Labor, Bureau of Statistics, for the Los Angeles - Long Beach area. The last Index
published for the month of June 1992 shall be deemed to be the base Index for the purpose of this
section.
SECTION 3. Validity of Resolution. If any section, sub -section, sentence, clause,
phrase or portion of this resolution is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the
•decision of any court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the
remaining portions of this resolution. The City Council hereby declares that it would have adopted this
resolution and each section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion thereof, irrespective of the
fact that any one or more sections, subsections, phrases or portions be declared invalid or
unconstitutional.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution.
