A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A
CORPORATION GRANT DEED IN FAVOR OF THE
CENTERMARK PROPERTIES OF WEST COVINA, INC.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve as follows:
• SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve as follows:
THAT PORTION OF LOT 156 OF E.J. BALDWIN'S FOURTH
SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF WEST COVINA, COUNTY OF LOS
ANGELES, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AS PER RECORDED IN BOOK 8,
PAGE 186 OF MAPS IN THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY RECORDER OF
SAID COUNTY, TOGETHER WITH THAT PORTION OF CALIFORNIA
AVENUE DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
COMMENCING AT THE CENTERLINE INTERSECTION OF
CALIFORNIA AVENUE AND WEST COVINA PARKWAY PER RECORD
OF SURVEY AS RECORDED IN BOOK 88, PAGES 40 THROUGH 42 OF
RECORDS OF SURVEYS, IN LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CALIFORNIA;
THENCE, NORTH 410 13' 00" EAST ALONG THE CENTERLINE OF
CALIFORNIA AVENUE A DISTANCE OF 776.42 FEET; THENCE,
NORTH 480 47' 00" WEST, 36.00 FEET TO THE TRUE POINT OF
BEGINNING. THENCE, SOUTH 000 39' S5" WEST, 22.87 FEET TO THE
BEGINNING OF A CURVE CONCAVE TO THE NORTHWEST HAVING
A RADIUS OF 35.00 FEET; THENCE, SOUTHWESTERLY ALONG SAID
CURVE THROUGH A CENTRAL ANGLE OF 900 00' 00", A DISTANCE
OF 54.98 FEET; THENCE, NORTH 890 20' 05" WEST, 14.52 FEET;
THENCE, NORTH 410 13' 00", 76.17 FEET TO THE TRUE POINT OF
BEGINNING.

is no longer needed for the public purposes for which it was acquired or for any other public
purpose; that the public convenience and necessity require that the same be conveyed to
Centermark Properties of West Covina, Inc.
SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and instructed
to execute in the name of the City of West Covina a Corporation Grant Deed conveying all
right, title and interest of the City of West Covina in and to said real property to Centermark
Properties of West Covina, Inc. and cause the said Grant Deed and a certified copy of this
resolution to be filed for record in the office of the County Recorder of the County,6f Los
Angeles.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
resolution, and to cause the said Certificate to be filed for record in the Office of the County
Recorder of the County of Los Angeles.
