A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING TERRITORY
DESIGNATED AS "ANNEXATION NO. 243" ANNEXED TO
THE CITY OF WEST COVINA.
WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission of the
County of Los Angeles adopted its Resolution No. 1992-11 on
• March 11, 1992, making determinations and approving the proposed
reorganization involving annexation to the City of West Covina
and detachment from the Consolidated Fire Protection District of
territory described in Exhibit A attached hereto and by this
reference incorporated herein; and
WHEREAS, the terms and conditions of annexation as
approved by the Local Agency Formation Commission are as follows:
None
WHEREAS, the reasons for this annexation are: The
property owner desires services from and identity with the City
of West Covina: and
WHEREAS, the regular county assessment roll is utilized
by this City; and
WHEREAS, the affected territory will not be taxed for
existing general bonded indebtedness of this City; and
WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission has
authorized this Council to approved this annexation without
notice and hearing and without an election.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the_City Council of
the City of West Covina hereby orders the reorganization
involving territory described in Exhibit 'A' annexed to the City
of West Covina and detached from the Consolidated Fire Protection
District, and directs the City Clerk to transmit a certified copy
of this resolution with applicable fees required by Section
54902.5 of the Government Code to the executive officer of the
Local Agency Formation Commission of Los Angeles County. -
