Resolution - 8801A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA,
CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THAT A SEPARATE POLICE EXPLORER FUND
BE ESTABLISHED AND THAT THE FINGERPRINTING FEE BE DEPOSITED
TO THAT FUND.
WHEREAS, the Police Explorers is a student volunteer group which
is financially responsible for its own uniform and equipment
purchases, and
WHEREAS, the Explorers' activities are funded primarily by
donations from businesses and individuals within the community, and
WHEREAS, the Explorers are responsible for maintaining the
fingerprint program for the City,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West Covina, does
resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That a separate fund be established for deposit of
the fingerprinting fees charged by the Police Explorers for their
benefit.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in
full force and effect.
