A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA,- CALIFORNIA, VACATING AND
ABANDONING A PORTION OF NON -ACCESS RIGHTS.
(Northeast Quadrant of Sunset Avenue and Garvey Avenue North.)
WHEREAS, the property owner has requested the vacation of a certain non -
access rights; and

WHEREAS, the non -access rights to the parcel in question were imposed
when an adjacent parcel .under the same parcel map required dedication of non -access rights;
WHEREAS, the dedicated non -access rights will severely limit the commercial
utilization of the parcel in question and the City,is.not desirous of havins access from Garvey
Avenue North.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West Covina does
resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Sections 8330 to 8333, inclusive, of the Streets and
Highways Code, the City Council of the City of West Covina hereby finds and determines
that the following described non -access rights has been superseded by relocation:
That certain non -access rights for Parcel No. 1 to the City of
West Covina, per Parcel Map No. 14547 recorded on September
14, 1984, per map filed in Book 172, Pages 52 and 53 of Parcel
Maps of Official Records of Los Angeles County.
SECTION 2. That non -access rights described in Section 1 is hereby
summarily vacated and abandoned.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution and shall cause a certified copy thereof to be recorded in the Office of the
County Recorder of said County.
