A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM OF EASEMENT IN
FAVOR OF U.B.S. PARTNERSHIP.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of West Covina does hereby find and
determine that:
That portion of Lot 35 of Tract No. 31147 in the City of West Covina, County of
Los Angeles, State of California, as shown on a map filed in Book 863, Pages 62
through 64, inclusive, of Map Books in the office of the County Recorder of said
County described as follows:
BEGINNING AT THE MOST EASTERLY CORNER
OF SAID LOT; THEN N.30° 03' 06" W.263.28
FEET ALONG THE NORTHEASTERLY LINE OF
SAID LOT TO AN ANGLE POINT THEREIN;
THENCE, LEAVING SAID NORTHEASTERLY
LINE, S.810 05' 32" W.42.89 FEET TO AN ANGLE
POINT IN THE SOUTHWESTERLY LINE OF SAID
LOT, SAID SOUTHWESTERLY LINE BEING ALSO
THE NORTHEASTERLY LINE OF LOT 1 OF SAID
TRACT; THENCE, S.30° 03' 06" E.278.75 FEET
ALONG SAID SOUTHWESTERLY LINE TO THE
NORTHWESTERLY LINE OF WOODGATE
DRIVE; (60 FEET WIDE) THENCE, N.590 56' 54"
E.40.00 FEET ALONG SAID LINE OF
WOODGATE DRIVE TO THE POINT OF
BEGINNING,
is no longer needed for public purposes for which it was acquired or for any other public
purpose; that the public convenience and necessity require that the same be quitclaimed to the
U.B.S. Partnership herein described.
SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and instructed to
execute in the name of the City of West Covina a Quitclaim of Easement, conveying all right,
title and interest of the City of West Covina in and to said real property to the U.B.S.
Partnership and cause the said Quitclaim of Easement to be filed for record in the office of the
County Recorder of Los Angeles.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution.
