A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING APPENDIX "A" OF
RESOLUTION NO. 8609, THE CITY'S SALARY RANGE
STRUCTURE FOR EMPLOYEES IN THE WEST COVINA PUBLIC
SAFETY DISPATCHERS' ASSOCIATION AS AMENDED; AND
RESOLUTION NO. 7223, RELATING TO CLASSIFICATION
AND COMPENSATION OF POSITIONS AS AMENDED; AND.
FIXING COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS FOR PERSONNEL
AND CLASSES REPRESENTED BY THE WEST COVINA PUBLIC
SAFETY DISPATCHERS' ASSOCIATION.
WHEREAS, the City of West Covina has met and conferred with
the West Covina Public Safety Dispatchers' Association, and
WHEREAS, the City of West Covina and the West Covina Public
Safety Dispatchers' Association have mutually agreed in a Memorandum
of Understanding for the three-year period 1990-1992; and
WHEREAS, the three-year Memorandum of Understanding
includes a provision for a salary change effective January 1, 1992;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the_City of West Covina
does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That Appendix "A" of Resolution No. 8609, the
City's salary range structure for employees in the West Covina Public
Safety Dispatchers' Association is hereby amended by Exhibit A of
this Resolution; and Resolution No. 7223, relating to the
classification and compensation of positions, as amended, and fixing
compensation and benefits for personnel and classes represented by
the West Covina Public Safety Dispatchers' Association are hereby
amended by this Resolution.
SECTION 2. The remaining provisions of Resolution No. 8609
and Resolution No. 7223, as amended, shall remain in full force and
effect until amended or repealed by Resolution of the City Council.
SECTION 3. The effective date of this Resolution is
January 1, 1992.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution.
