RESOLUTION NO. 6017
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
COVINA, CALIFORNIA, CONCURRING':WITH.AMENDMENT.NO."'2 TO
THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT PLAN
WHEREAS, The State Solid Waste Management Board approved the Los Angeles
County Solid Waste Management Plan on December 16, 1977 as
meeting the requirements of Section 66780 Title 7.3 of the
Government Code; and
WHEREAS, during approximately one year of implementation of the Plan,
a number of changes have occurred and requests for revisions
have beenreceived which resulted in the preparation of Amend-
ment No. 2 to the County Solid Waste Mangement Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Amendment No. 2 is subject to the approval by the majority
of the cities within incorporated areas of the County; and
WHEREAS, the Amendment No. 2 was submitted to the City of West Covina
for approval;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of West
Covina approves Amendment No. 2 and the City Clerk shall certify
to the adoption of this resolution.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of November, 1979.
