• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
COVINA, CALIFORNIA, GRANTING THE CITY ENGINEER
AUTHORITY TO EXECUTE AGREEMENTS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS, GRADING, AND MISCELLANEOUS
IMPROVEMENTS ON PRIVATE PROPERTY BY PRIVATE
DEVELOPERS ON BEHALF -OF THE CITY.
WHEREAS, City ordinances and resolutions require the construc-
tion of certain public improvements, private improvements and on -site
grading as a condition of securing approval of final maps, parcel
maps, and building permits; and
WHEREAS, the responsibility for the administration of City
ordinances and resolutions requiring such improvements is assigned to
the Engineering Department; and
WHEREAS, such improvements must be constructed or guaranteed
prior to approval of final maps, parcel maps, or building permits;
and
WHEREAS, such improvement agreements are of a routine nature
and generally uniform in content and application.
NOW., THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council of•the
•City of West Covina does hereby authorize the City Engineer to execute
agreements for the construction of public improvements, grading, and
miscellaneous improvements on private property by private developers
on behalf of the City of West Covina.
