A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
COVINA, CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE A CORPORATION QUITCLAIM DEED IN
• FAVOR OF HOUSING AFFILIATES, INC.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of West Covina
does hereby find and determine that:
That certain strip of .land lying southerly of the
northerly line, of the southerly 374.32 feet of Lot 8,
in Block 8 of the Phillips Tract, per Map Book 9,
Pages 3 and 4 of Miscellaneous Records, as described
in the Grant of Easement to the City of West Covina,
recorded on August 1, 1960 as Document No. 3523, in
Book D-929, Page 168 of Official Records,
is no longer needed for the public purposes for which it was
acquired or for any other public purpose; that the public pur-
pose; that the public convenience and necessity require that
the same be quitclaimed to Housing Affiliates, Inc.
SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby author-
ized and instructed to execute in the name of the City of West
Covina a Quitclaim Deed conveying all right, title and interest
of the City of West Covina in and to said real property to,
Housing Affiliates, Inc.
• SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.

1979.
