RESOLUTION NO. 6012
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A CORPORATION
GRANT DEED EXECUTED BY HOUSING AFFILIATES, INC.
AND DIRECTING THE RECORDATION THEREOF.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve as
follows:
SECTION 1. The interest conveyed by the certain instrument
executed by Housing Affiliates,. Inc., under date of September 9,
1979, granting to the City of West Covina the property or interest
therein as particularly described is hereby accepted. Said property
is described as:
That portion of Lot 8 in Block 8 of the Phillips Tract
in the City of West Covina, County of Los Angeles, State
of California, as per map recorded in Book 9, Pages 3 and
4 of Miscellaneous Records, in the office of the County
Recorder of said County; Being a strip of land 10.00 feet
in width, lying 5.00 feet on each side of the following
described center line:
Beginning at the intersection of the Northerly line of
the Southerly 7.00 feet of said lot with the East line
of the West 335.74 feet of said lot; thence Northeasterly
along a direct line to a point on the East line of the
West-357.83 feet of said lot, distant Northerly thereon
329.33 feet from the Northerly line of the Southerly 7.00
feet of said lot; thence Northeasterly along a direct line
to a point of the Easterly line of the Westerly 425.25
feet of said lot. Distant Northerly thereon 363.32 feet
from the Northerly line of the Southerly 7.00 feet of
.said lot; thence Northerly parallel with the Westerly
line of said lot, a distance of 4.00 feet, more or less,
to the Northerly line of the Southerly 374.32 feet
of said lot.
The Westerly and Easterly lines of said strip of land to
be prolonged or shortened so to intersect at angle points
and to terminate Northerly in the Northerly line of the
Southerly 374.32 feet of.said lot; and to terminate South-
erly in said Northerly line of the Southerly 7.00 feet of
said lot.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to execute a certificate of acceptance in substantially the form
prescribed by Section 27281 of the Government Code and to cause
the said, instrument and said certificate to be filed for record
in the office of the County Recorder.of the County of Los Angeles.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
